Project review - creation of the brief
Looks at the basic requirements of the project to ensure the best result is obtained from the available budget.

Amstore Interactive TM takes concepts and ideas, formalises them into a brief for the clients approval. Once this is complete the project really starts moving!
Proper planning always minimises project length and cost.
Audio Encoding
Encoding is a process of compression, without it, too much space would be taken on a disk. Using a state of the art Digital audio suite Amstore encode to Dolby, DTS or MPEG standards.
Amstore also has a studio on site for audio dubbing and the creation of unique sound effects or even your own title music! Through having these facilities in house, project cost and delivery time is improved.
Video Encoding
In order to fit onto a DVD or a CD, a video needs to be compressed. DVD utlises the format MPEG –2 , this compressed format retains the high quality level, and makes storage manageable.
Using state of the art video encoders, Amstore maximises the quality of the compressed video format.
Subtitles
To take advantage of the additional storage capacity of DVDs, many international companies are able to subtitle different language sections, or where they do not want the cost of complete audio dubbing. Subtitles are accepted in text format with time codes checked for position and audio synchronisation. For a template of subtitling contact us.
Digital Design
This is the really creative part of producing a DVD. It's the graphic design and conception of 2d and 3d animations. These can be incorporated in the menu structure. Typically this involves a graphically designed background image, which may even be captured from video footage, with an overlay of buttons and interactivity.
Authoring
Now that the various elements have been prepared. The authoring process, starts, linking all these parts together in an effective way, creating the transitions and functionality that makes a professional production.

Quality/Verification
Working with the client a testing program is created to ensure the final product meets the acceptance criteria. This includes testing on different platforms, different machines, functionality testing and so on.
DVD Duplication
With in-house DVD duplication and print facilities, Amstore offers a full service for disks through to printed parts and packaging. This integrates with our creative team, ensuring a smooth-transition and a quality product.
